Le terrorisme islamiste au Maroc

Abdessamad Dialmy

Universite de Fes, Maroc, dialmy{at}menara.ma

English

Moroccan Islamic terrorism is a multi-dimensional phenomenon, at once economic, religious, political, cultural and psychological: it can be considered a total social fact. By distinguishing the theoretical/ideological, organizational and executive levels in his analysis, the author attempts to describe this particularly complex phenomenon and identify the different factors making it 'socio-politically' inevitable. He then analyses the organizations of Moroccan Islamic terrorism, its ideologues and members, and how they transform a young Moroccan into a suicidal Islamic terrorist and the significance to be lent to the suicidal/terrorist acts of Casablanca.
